Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat fully, ensuring even baking.
- Mix the cheese filling: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, blue cheese, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well until smooth and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken mixture: In another bowl, mix shredded cooked chicken, buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, and diced tomatoes until evenly coated.
- Assemble the lasagna: Spread ¼ of the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer four lasagna noodles over the chicken, then top with another ¼ of the chicken mixture, ⅓ of the cheese mixture, and sprinkle with about ⅓ of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers twice more, finishing with a final layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake the lasagna: Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking uncovered for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and noodles are tender.
- Serve: Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving to allow the layers to set properly.
Notes
- Allow the lasagna to cool slightly before storing to ensure even freezing and refrigeration.
- Stored in an airtight container, leftovers can stay fresh for 3-5 days in the fridge.
- Frozen lasagna can be preserved for 2-3 months; thaw in the fridge fully before reheating.
- You can customize spice levels by adjusting the buffalo wing sauce amount.
