Scale
For the Cherry Base
- 2/3 cup whole cherries, seeds removed, fresh or frozen/thawed
For the Soda
- 2 - 7.5 ounce cans Dr. Pepper
For the Cold Foam
- 1/2 cup vanilla creamer (Chobani brand or similar)
Instructions
- Prepare Cherries: Mince the cherries finely until they are small enough to pass through a straw. Collect a few spoonfuls of the cherry juice released from chopping and set it aside for later use.
- Make Cherry Vanilla Cold Foam: Using a frother or a smoothie blender, combine the vanilla creamer and the preserved cherry juice to create a thick, creamy cold foam that remains easily pourable.
- Assemble the Drink: Add 4 tablespoons of the minced cherries to the bottom of each glass. Fill each glass about two-thirds full with ice cubes.
- Add Soda: Pour Dr. Pepper into each glass, leaving approximately 2 inches of space at the top to allow for the foam and prevent overflow.
- Top with Foamed Creamer: Carefully spoon the cherry vanilla cold foam over the soda in each glass. Stir gently to mix, being cautious to avoid excessive agitation that can cause the carbonation to overflow.
Notes
- For a lower-calorie alternative, substitute the vanilla creamer with cherry vanilla creamer like Ollipop.
- Diet Dr. Pepper can be used if you prefer a reduced sugar soda option.
