Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the porridge oats, semi-skimmed milk, water, and cocoa powder into a saucepan, stirring to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Add Satsuma Juice: Cut one of the satsumas in half and squeeze the juice into the saucepan mixture, infusing the porridge with a fresh citrus flavor.
- Cook the Porridge: Place the saucepan on low heat and cook the mixture for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent sticking and to allow the oats to soften and absorb the liquids.
- Add Sweetener (Optional): Once the porridge is thick and creamy, add a drop of sugar free sweetener to taste if desired, and stir well.
- Serve: Pour the porridge into a bowl, top with a square of dark chocolate and garnish with the segments from the second satsuma for a fresh burst of flavor and texture.
