Instructions
- Cook Sausage and Onion: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Italian sausage and chopped onion, cooking until the sausage is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease from the skillet.
- Add Sauces and Seasonings: Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in minced garlic, Alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to combine all flavors.
- Add Tortellini: Incorporate the frozen cheese tortellini into the skillet, stirring to coat evenly with the sauce. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the tortellini are tender.
- Melt the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the tortellini mixture. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, or cover the skillet on the stovetop and let sit until the cheese melts.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven or stove, sprinkle with dried parsley flakes, and serve hot.
