Macaroni:
- 2 cups uncooked macaroni

- 1 yellow onion, chopped (or mixed chopped green onion greens and yellow onion)
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- Pinch chili pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start cooking the pasta: Get a large pot of salted hot water boiling and cook the macaroni according to package directions.
- Brown the beef and onions: In a skillet, brown ground beef in olive oil. Add onions and cook until soft.
- Add the seasonings and tomatoes: Season beef with celery seed, red pepper, and seasoned salt. Add tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer.
- Drain the pasta: Reserve some pasta water.
- Add the cooked pasta: Combine drained macaroni and parsley with the beef mixture. Cook briefly and adjust seasoning.
