For the Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
- 1 teaspoon oregano
For the Salad
- 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 red onion, sliced or chopped
- 1/3 cup banana peppers or peperoncini, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped deli meat of choice (salami, turkey)
- 1/2 cup cheese of choice (parmesan, smoked cheddar, mozzarella, provolone)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine dressing ingredients. Mix together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, salt, red pepper flakes, Italian seasonings, and oregano.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Toss together iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, banana peppers, deli meat, and cheese with the dressing until well coated.
