For the Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

For the Salad

  • 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers or peperoncini, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped deli meat of choice (salami, turkey)
  • 1/2 cup cheese of choice (parmesan, smoked cheddar, mozzarella, provolone)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine dressing ingredients. Mix together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, salt, red pepper flakes, Italian seasonings, and oregano.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Toss together iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, banana peppers, deli meat, and cheese with the dressing until well coated.
