Description

These Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are a fun twist on traditional pizza, with all the flavors you love rolled up in a tasty pinwheel. Perfect for a party appetizer or a delicious snack!

Dough

  • 1 13 oz. pkg. refrigerated pizza dough

Easy Pizza Sauce

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Toppings

  • 1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 32 pepperonis
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12×16 inch rectangle.
  3. Prepare sauce: Mix together all the ingredients for the pizza sauce and spread 3/4 cup over the dough.
  4. Add toppings: Layer mozzarella, pepperoni, green peppers, and Parmesan over the sauce.
  5. Roll up: Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the edge closest to you. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
  6. Bake: Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  7. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

  • Homemade Pizza Dough recipe makes enough for two pizzas, so you’ll only use half for this recipe.
