Dough
- 1 13 oz. pkg. refrigerated pizza dough
Easy Pizza Sauce
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Toppings
- 1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 32 pepperonis
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green peppers
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12×16 inch rectangle.
- Prepare sauce: Mix together all the ingredients for the pizza sauce and spread 3/4 cup over the dough.
- Add toppings: Layer mozzarella, pepperoni, green peppers, and Parmesan over the sauce.
- Roll up: Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the edge closest to you. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Bake: Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- Homemade Pizza Dough recipe makes enough for two pizzas, so you’ll only use half for this recipe.
