Description

These Spicy Tuna Bites are a delightful fusion of fresh sashimi-grade tuna marinated in a spicy mayonnaise mixture, served on crisp cucumber slices. Perfect for a light and flavorful appetizer or snack.

  • 8 ounces sashimi grade tuna, cut into small 1/4 inch cubes

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili oil
  • 3 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black or white sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 cucumber, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices

Spicy Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • Toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spicy Mayonnaise: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce until combined.
  2. Spicy Tuna Bites: In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons spicy mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, green onions, and sesame seeds. Gently mix in the cubed tuna until coated. Serve on cucumber slices.
  3. Optional: Drizzle more sriracha, spicy mayonnaise, sesame seeds, and green onions on top. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 day. Raw fish should be consumed fresh.
